Welcome

Hi — I'm Isaac, a Platform Engineer (DevOps). I work on the pipelines, clusters and glue that let application teams ship without thinking too hard about what happens after git push.

This is where I'll write about that work.

What I plan to write about

• CI/CD — pipeline design, build caching, release gating, and the unglamorous work of making a deploy boring.
• Containers and orchestration — Kubernetes in practice, GitOps with Argo CD, and the failure modes you only meet in production.
• Cloud infrastructure — Terraform on AWS, cost and capacity, and keeping environments reproducible.
• Observability and SRE — metrics that actually page someone, dashboards developers can self-serve from, incident review, and error budgets. Mostly Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Grafana and Jaeger.
• Security and identity — SSO and RBAC, secrets handling with Vault, and shifting checks left without grinding delivery to a halt.
